Hello!
Imagine a subtropical island in the South China Sea without cars, no traffic jams, no high-rise buildings but a place with lush green vegetation and remote sandy beaches. This idyllic peninsula is Lamma Island, a tranquil oasis that is a mere 20-minute ferry ride from the bustling city on Hong Kong island, a place that I have called my home for the last decade.
Having started multiple entrepreneurial ventures and having served as a mentor of numerous others, including successes and failures, I have the scars that are the clearest signs of real-world learning. This hard-earned wisdom, distilled from first-hand knowledge, provides me with the insights to guide others on their own entrepreneurial journeys. As a Business Design practitioner, I bridge industry insights with practical methods to help leaders resolve their most critical decisions, drive value, and achieve transformational success.
In 2020, together with Dr Richard Claydon, I founded EQ Lab, an Extended Intelligence leadership community of elite thinkers. At EQ Lab we design and facilitate live, cohort-based dialogues that foster critical thinking, cultivate self-awareness and accelerate decision-making.
Besides my passion for entrepreneurship, for the last decade, my second career has been in education. I have worked as the Lead Instructor in the APAC region for General Assembly, designing interventions and upskilling employees for the digital economy. Additionally, I work as a visiting professor at the Sino-German Faculty of Zhejiang Wanli University in China, teaching brand management, design management, motivation and leadership theories. Additionally, I have worked as the Lead Instructor in the APAC region for General Assembly, designing educational interventions and upskilling employees for the digital economy.
I write about art, creativity, and innovation on my ‘insights’ blog, and produce and host The Last Supper, a weekly podcast dedicated to emerging and established artists, curators, gallerists and collectors in Asia. Ranked in the top 10, my podcast is supported by Christie's auction house and the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA).
